The established Italian gourmet deli and fine food purveyor Da Paolo Gastronomia is launching its one-stop shopping menu to fulfil all your festive celebration needs. The season to be jolly is made extra special with a selection of roasted specialities, homemade sweet treats, exclusive German Marzipan Christmas delights and gourmet food hampers available for order for Christmas or New Year's Eve parties from 1 November 2012. 

Order forms can be picked up at all the 8 Da Paolo Gastronomia outlets. Alternatively, orders can be placed at www.dapaolo.com.sg/gastronomia/festive. For further enquiries, customers can call the festive hotline at 6474 8411 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm).

Mr.Guillaume Pichoir, CEO of Da Paolo said in our interview, "But in Singapore, people dine out. People don't have so much yet this habit of going to deli shop and buy what they need and make a nice dinner. In Europe, people entertain at home, invite their friends and cook for them. If they can't cook, they can buy from gastronomia and have nice dinner like if they were in a restaurant. I think this culture that you have in France and Italy is not necessary here yet.'' They are attracting Singaporean to entertain at home.

Boneless Roasted Turkey stuffed with Smoked Duck Breast & Pear 
A must-have for Christmas celebrations is this succulent deboned roasted turkey marinated with brandy and herbs such as rosemary, sage and thyme; and stuffed with succulent pork sausages, smoked duck breast, roasted walnuts, black truffles, caramelised pears as well as shitake mushrooms. This bird is accompanied by a sweet-savoury sauce made from veal jus flavoured with Marsala wine and whole figs. $268 (approx. 4kg whole bird, serves 10 - 12 persons)

Casserole Pork Rack Crown with Green Apple Jam 
For a celebration fit for a king this Yuletide season, order the stunning crown roast of pork to impress your guests. This rack is slow-cooked to tender perfection and coated with homemade green apple jam which provides a touch of natural sweetness to complement the robust flavour of the pork. Accompanied with a red wine reduction, this festive classic is a definite crowd pleaser. $238 (approx. 4kg whole crown, serves 10 - 12 persons)

Tri-coloured Cookie Tree
The tree is made from a stack of star-shaped, freshly-baked butter cookies consisting of three flavours: pistachio, chocolate chip oatmeal and cocoa hazelnut. Decorated with icing sugar and dotted with candy balls, this dainty tree is finished with a sprinkling of organic Tekoe tea leaves. $49.50 per tree (approx. 1.2kg, serves 10 -15 persons)
